Project AHA - Art, Humanity & Awareness

Supporting: Children of Syria
being there for one another and making a difference
These projects are not only to raise money,
but as importantly to raise human awareness through art and passion,
and hopefully to inspire others to do the same.
Sunday June 18th at 7:30pm
at the Salvatore Capezio Theater of Peridance
126 East 13th Street, New York City
Tickets: $20 suggested donation (at the door)
This event is made possible by the generous support of Peridance Capezio Center, the Salvatore Capezio Theater, their staff and all the artists and dancers involved!
The 'short' on how this came about:
Ola Slavin, an Israeli student at Peridance, was inspired by Moti Kahana’s relief efforts for the children of Syria. Moti Kahana is an Israeli born American who decided to HELP OUT and REACH OUT! Israel is “technically” at war with Syria and the border is closed, however, Kahana has chosen to reach out and find ways to help the innocent victims of the ongoing civil war. Kahana’s caring and efforts sparked inspiration in Ola, Ola shared the story with Marijke, research ensued, and soon Marijke and Ola devised a plan to collaborate with Moti Kahana and his efforts and use our art to raise awareness.
